Tea and Candle Party

A candle party is a good theme for tea party ideas and there's no better time than autumn for a candle and tea party - or any other home party for that matter.

Hosting a tea party combined with one of the home parties such as Tupperware®, Pampered Chef®, or Tastefully Simple®, is an easy party to pull off.

Many people, especially ladies, will come to your party for a fun time out and to find some holiday gifts for others, as well as for themselves.

With this type of party, the entertainment is taken care of for you. The consultant comes to candle partyyour home, displays their products, gives information and demonstrations, and sometimes even plays a game or two with the guests, complete with prizes.

All the hostess has to do is send the invitations and, of course, provide the refreshments.

the product - they sell quality candles.

As I am always looking for a reason to have tea parties, I thought it would be a great idea to combine tea with this candle themed party - they both provide warmth and cheer!

After picking a date for the tea and candle party, I sent out the invitations. (You can use our printable candle tea party invitations.)

Then I planned a simple menu:

To make the cheese candles, I used a Christmas cookie cutter, using the top part of the cutter only. Take a block of cheese, with the width about the same width as your cutter and simply push down on the cookie cutter

A note about mixing candles and food. - When using candles at mealtime or during a party where food is served,
make sure the aroma of the two are not in competition. This is especially true when seated at a table where odorless candles might be appropriate.

This type of party can also be done on a larger scale. If you have a bigger area, such as a room at a school, church, or meeting hall, you can have two or more consultants to give demonstrations and information. Just ask them to keep it brief and if they can be incorporated into a common theme - all the better.

Have fun with this tea party idea and...
...pass the candle of warmth and friendship - host a tea!
