A ham salad recipe is easy to make. The addition of relish gives it a good balance.

Ham salad sandwiches are a good choice for tea sandwiches because the filling is easy to keep neat and trim and you can easily control the amount.

It can be made a day ahead and then quickly assembled the day of the tea party.

Ham salad can be used as a dip, or to fill celery, as well as sandwiches.

*Ham is salty, so don' serve any other salty food with it.

 



Ham Salad

  • 3 cups ground ham (use food processor or grinder)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise ( more or less)
  • 1 teaspoons honey mustard ( more or less)
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish ( more or less)
  • 1 dash pepper

 

Grind cooked ham in food processor or grinder. Turn
into bowl. Blend in mayonnaise, mustard, relish, and
dash of pepper - using more or less to taste. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Serves 6
