Mad Hatters Cup Cakes for My 13 th Birthday
First of all, you just need a plain old cake mix- any ratio will work.
Once you have made your cake mix, separate the mix. I used three colors, so I separated it into three bowls.
Then add your colors, I used red food coloring, green food coloring and cocoa powder for chocolate ones.
Find some funky bun cases (cupcake baking cups) - you can get them in craft shops or even supermarkets.
Spoon the mixture into the bun cases and cook in an oven that has been pre-heated to 180`c.
Once cooked, they bounce up when you touch the top.
Then it’s time for the best bit - DECORATING.
While the buns /cupcakes are cooling, clear up and set out your decorating equipment. I made hats out of ready roll icing, I also made "Eat me" signs, but really you can do anything you want when it comes to decorating, so let your imagination go wild and make up your own designs.
Something that looks really cute, are name tags, eat me signs, and also little flowers. If you don't have a steady hand, you can buy pre-made little edible flowers to go on your cup cakes.
So have fun cooking my little mad hatters tea party recipe.

Good idea on the color cupcakes!
I have a Tea every year. It is something everyone that is invited looks forward to. Women gathering and dressing up!
